Russian Tea Cakes

From the Norman Family, Sunset Hills

Mix well: 1 C butter
1 tsp vanilla
½ C powdered sugar
Blend to mix: 2 ½ C flour
¼ tsp salt
¾ C Finely chopped almonds


Chill dough.  Heat oven to 400°.  Roll dough in 1” balls.  Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 10-12 min., but not browned.  Roll in powdered sugar while hot.  When cool, roll again.
