Potatoes Au Gratin

10 medium potatoes
2 c. Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. margarine or butter
2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. chopped green onions
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Butter
9X13 inch pan

Boil potatoes; skin, dice them and spread into 9x13 inch pan. Melt Cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup butter. Blend in sour cream, green onions, salt, and pepper. Pour over diced potatoes, covering well. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until heated through.
