No-knead Bread

From Janine Madsen

½ C warm water
2 T instant yeast—sprinkle over water
Mix: 6 eggs, beaten                 1 T salt
½ C oil                                                1 C sugar
4 C hot tap water                    5 lb bag Wondra flour

Add flour 2 cups at a time.  After first addition of flour add yeast and water.  Continue adding flour until bread dough consistency.  Mix bread smooth.  Don’t knead.  Let raise to double twice in a greased bowl, about 45 min. each time.

For bears: bake 400 for 15 minutes.
For pull-apart bread: roll out to ¼” thick.  Cut circles with juice glass.  Put melted butter between each circle.  Let raise, bake at 400° for 15 min. or until golden brown.  Glaze top of either with butter.

Can halve recipe, but don’t halve yeast.
