4C nuts (any but cashews, which may fall apart)
1T salt
enough water to cover nuts plus a bit more for nuts to absorb water
Soak 12 hours (cashews soak 4 hours)
Rinse
Add salt or flavoring, if desired
Dissolve salt into water; sprinkling on won't stick
Dehydrate 105 - 120F, 12-24 hours
Taste to test for doneness = crunchy, crispy
Let cool before testing
